At Stellar, most of our testing happens in the lab. Every software update goes through thousands of automated tests before it ever reaches a customer deployment.

But sometimes, simulation isn't enough.

For episode 6 of INSIDE Stellar, we took our testing out of the lab, onto the road, and brought you with us. Driving across Luxembourg, Belgium, and France, we put our multi-network connectivity setup through a real-world stress test, combining multiple cellular operators and Starlink connectivity while continuously crossing borders, driving under foliage, and moving through changing network environments.

Why does the commercial team participate in testing? Why do we cross some of the most difficult borders on purpose? What can you learn from driving through tunnels, under dense foliage, and across multiple mobile networks in a matter of minutes? And does adding satellite connectivity really change the outcome?

This episode gives a behind-the-scenes look at how Stellar validates technology outside the lab, how customer experience influences our testing process, and why sometimes the best way to understand a product is to experience it as a customer would. As a commercial team eager to jump into the shoes of the customer, our conversations during this episode give clear answers.

While lab tests tell you what should happen, the real world always has its own opinion.
