Paris, 15 May 2026 - Stellar and I-SEE have launched a joint initiative to bring resilient and adaptive communications capabilities to long-endurance unmanned aerial systems, operating across civil and defense environments. The partnership combines the expertise of I-SEE in advanced UAV platforms and real-time sensor systems with Stellar's STEER® software which dynamically leverages terrestrial, radio and satellite networks for resilient and reliable connectivity, and which is capable of the most advanced packet-based session orchestration.

Leveraging operational experience from existing land and aircraft deployments, Stellar is deploying its STEER® software within I-SEE's long-endurance unmanned systems environment. The software will utilize the most efficient combination of available channels, including line-of-sight and beyond-line-of-sight, terrestrial and satellite networks, according to their availability, performance and resiliency. The deployment incorporates the configurations required to address the operational constraints of high-altitude missions, complex sensor payloads and applicable civil and defense aviation standards. The collaboration highlights the importance of partnerships between specialized European technology leaders in building trusted capabilities developed and engineered in Europe.

Jean-Michel Baure, CEO of I-SEE said, "as autonomous systems continue to evolve, the resilience of communications is becoming just as crucial as the platforms themselves. The combination of I-SEE’s expertise in long-range drone systems and Stellar’s adaptive networking technology opens the way to a new generation of aerial capabilities designed to operate in increasingly contested electromagnetic environments. Stellar’s technology is a key component of our system’s open architecture."

Damien Garot, CEO at Stellar said, "the confidence placed in Stellar by I-SEE validates our approach to intelligent connectivity and our ability to architect sovereign communication infrastructures for demanding operational scenarios. Strong ecosystems are built by bringing together local experts with complementary capabilities. This partnership is a concrete example of how European innovation can deliver trusted solutions for the future."
